"It was a rare rainy Saturday here in central Florida so we decided to go for a drive. W had heard of Montverde but had never visited. We just happened to visit on the weekend that spring break had started and this town was vacant. We saw the sign and said to ourselves we have to go in. The coffee was brilliant and the pastries as good as they get. Seating very limited and the décor odd but great for a chuckle. Plainly their target market are teenagers and young adults. Bizarre new age music was playing. Game players by the dozen. Large screen tv you control. The bathroom was disgrace. Toilet filthy, walls mostly unpainted and the tap on the sink broken and on the floor. As we left I paused to tell the single young man, running the shop, about what I saw. He looked at me and commented it was no big deal. I should have picked up the broken tap from the floor and connected it back. I told him he had to be kidding and stared at me like it was not his problem. We left but not before the client exiting the bathroom after me commented it was too filthy to use. Kind of a shame but then I noticed the few other customers were all teenage boys that probably didn't care about cleanliness."

"When I called to make the reservation I had told them no fish and no lamb no mushrooms or truffle oil. My menu had everything I couldn’t have and they had change everything and my starter had truffle oil and I had a reaction so needless to say whoever gets your info on the phone to make the reservation doesn’t listen and could get someone really hurt. My neck and face the next morning was all swollen and talking hurt a lot. I don’t mind paying almost $1000.00 if they had listened the 1st time but to ignore everything and to have a reaction because they failed on notes is not ok."

"I absolutely love the subs here. I specifically come to this location because of Nicole. She always has a smile on her face and gives exceptional customer service. I just found out, after coming here for a while, that she's a manager....I would not have known because she is hard at work and most managers of places don't step up like that, they observe or ensure employees are doing their job. She is amazing and you can tell she truly cares about what she does and her customers. Thank you Nicole!!! You are the BEST!!! Also I just met another manager there today, I haven't seen her before but shout out to Hayley too!! She's super sweet and a great addition to the team. With Nicole and Hayley this location is in great hands. Great mangers and awesome subs, this is the location to go to!!!"
