Pretty good family style Italian in the Clermont area. Since the Winter Garden Pizza company closed down in downtown Winter Garden it's about the only family style Italian restaurant in the area. Meal started off great, bread was hot and the Greek salad was good. Chicken Parmesan which is my go-to dish lacked any kind of seasoning and my wife’s lasagna was comparable to a Stouffers at best. My nephews pizza was spot onlike another restaurant who knew how to cook and season food made it. "This place is part market, and part restaurant. I've never bought anything from the market side, but it all looks good and fresh. Lots of merchandise you won't see anywhere else. Big selection of wines and cheeses.The restaurant side is semi-table service. Place your order at the counter and pay, and someone will bring it out to you. They have inside and outside seating.I've had their pizza lunch special a couple of times. Two slices and a soda for 7-something. Maybe 7.99. The slices are huge. A couple could probably split an order and each have enough to eat. They will add toppings if you want, but I recommend just enjoying the cheese pizza. It's different from anywhere else and the toppings don't add much to the flavor. Just my opinion.It's a big family operating the place and they're all quite friendly and welcoming. Lots of chatter. Babies in back in playpens. Young, polite kids working up front. I really enjoy visiting there. You will too."
