"Sapori is my go-to spot every time I'm in the Cicero area. The pizza is phenomenal (especially the cheese pizza) and every pasta dish I've tried has been very good; I highly recommend the fettuccine Alfredo. They've recently changed locations and no longer offer the full dine-in experience they used to, but they still have a couple tables available if someone is looking to stay and eat. "My wife and I went there for dinner last night aug 5 2023 for the first time. To say the least it was the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. They had one waitress trying to cover all the tables and you could see she was very frustrated and confused. It took over 40 minutes for our food to come out. When it did some of the nachos from the nacho platter were stale, the home made chips were burnt and my Reuben sandwich that they brag about was very salty. The waitress saw me playing with the sandwich and asked me what was wrong. I told her it was very salty and there was mushrooms on it. Next thing I know is the cook came to my table with a new pot of corn beef and asked me to take off the old meat and he would replace it with the new meat. He explained to me that the reason the original meat was salty is that it had been sitting there since they opened 3 pm and that he tried it and agreed it was very salty. The sandwich was still salty because the original meat and its juices soaked into the bread. Their Reuben is know where as good as other restaurants. At no point did they ever offer to make a new sandwich or even apologize for the disgusting one they originally served me. I will not return to their establishment again. If I could give them a zero I would have."

"The outdoor seating and the views of the lake are really nice. I came here to enjoy a night out with my parents. I've heard a lot about this place and wanted to see what the hype was about. We ordered a few drinks while waiting the hour for our table. The margaritas were made well. The inside decor is dated to me but that's not a deal breaker for me when dining out. I ordered their baked haddock dish and I was disappointed. I was hoping for more flavor but didn't get it. The dinner rolls were also very hard and the food overall was ok. I would only return here to have a drink outside, watching the boats on the lake."
