We have eaten at Fish on Fire and always been very satisfied with the service and quality of the food. However, we had lunch there today and the service was very off handed and it seemed we were intruders rather than customers who help pay staff wages. The food was a disaster. We were a large group of people yet the service & food were not compromised. The seafood platter for 2 was abundant, fresh & good value, we couldn't finish it there was so much food.
Visited this venue for lunch today with my mother. We had the cooked platter for two and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Staff were friendly and attentive. The platter was huge and the seafood fresh. Beer battered chips were spot on - crunchy on the outside and soft in the centre. Choice of salad was a nice touch - we went for the sun dried tomato pasta salad and weren't disappointed. Will certainly visit again next time I'm in Cleveland.
Footpath and inside dining ... best at night when there is less traffic ... good variety of seafood and drinks also available
The platter option was great, so much variety, fresh and worth of money. Salad was great too. We better drive here to get fish and chips than the local one.
