Beware of you. this is by far our fav venue in redlands. eating is first-class, friendly staff and probably the best location in brisbane right on the water! I will come back again and again:

We both ordered the jimbaran grilled king prawns squid. the garnels were quite, but butterflied. I'd like to have eaten all the prawn if it had a crispy bowl and head. Unfortunately, the dish was soggy and brewed meat overcooked and...dry the side of rice was a stone chaos.

We booked a week in advance for a set menu at the head. the service was abysmal, we waited an hour to come to the first cure and then only two from our table of six got it. the rest of us. our first cure is half an hour later. we have starved, but it could still eat, it was bad. the grilled garn tasted like gum and smells terrible. the second cure was disappointing, and then the desert was not what was on the menu. it was something completely different and was illegitimate. we complained and asked to see the manager not once, but twice. she was apparently too busy and sent a junior staff to talk to us. he was very pleasant and apologetic, but his only explanation was that the restaurant was unprepared for the night, despite being half empty. we were not offered our money for the desert. I asked for an e-mail address from senior managements to take this on and will not waste my money again by eating in this facility.

Had a great lunch! great location, excellent service and the meals were very generous and good value. we will be definitiw with the rest of the family back.

Have not ordered anything more than a drink and some starters, however the music is so loud that I want to leave before my food arrives. There are a group of about extremely drunk, loud, obnoxious women shouting and screaming. It's a pity because...I feel if the staff actually quietened things down it might be a decent atmosphere
