Her seafood is excellent (try the lobster risotto), but also her meat and chicken and wonderful soups. Service is friendly and their daily specialties are fabulous. "With very few exceptions, this store delivers the best quality food, and also has the best customer service in town. I always order the Mexican side, and have asked for some minor things. They always take care of their customers, and what they deliver is some of the best Mexican food in Albany. Even the rare occasion that something isnt right- theyre right there to fix it. The food is authentic, consistent , and perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. They deserve all the stars"

"Hello, My husband and I went to your bagel shop today with a friend visiting from out of state. We asked your employee for a veggie sandwich with capers. Your employee said ?so a lox supreme but veggie? and I repeated it after that and said yes but without the lox. I ordered another sandwich a lox supreme normal. We had a friend with us and English is their second language and he was taking a little bit longer to review the menu because he was new to West end bagel. Your employee was extremely rude and impatient waiting for our friend to order. When people are speaking to each other in a language other than English then speaking to you in English this should not be a reason to get frustrated, this is a time to approach with patience and understanding. There was only two people behind us and another employee was helping them. I didn?t understand the rush. After we got our order the employee had made two lox supreme sandwich. I know that lox is salmon and that?s why I told them no lox on one of the sandwiches. I know there was a miscommunication but my husband is a lifelong vegetarian and we have never had a problem ordering a bagel sandwich this way before. Your employee went on to blame us for the error and even said there is no Veggie sandwich in your store even though it is clearly written on your board and they were incredibly rude. Sadly, we will not be returning to your restaurant because of the discomfort we felt today."
