What Robert G likes about Tacos Matamoros:
The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because of the cartilage left in the chicken tacos and my friend had some bones in her chicken enchiladas when they butchered it. Two of the four tacos contained several pieces of cartilage. That makes it very difficult, and unpleasant to eat. But, everything is fresh and absolutely flavorful and delicious. I hope the owner reads this. Your workers are rude and could not take one simple order of three items and on top of that she's like are you done yet? I'm sorry but I'm paying for the food you are not gifting to me!! If they don't like the job find yourself one that you do. read more.

"WOW, JUST WOW! best cafe in Clifton by far and beats out many others from towns like Montclair. Two high quality sandwiches and a pastry for under $30 is awesome! I had the chipotle chicken sandwich and the taste was out of this world! The chocolate croissant was also delicious and far more superior to the ones sold at Starbucks (in my opinion a couple things I'd like to highlight are , 1. The menu huge selection and wide variety of different foods , even picky eaters could find something. 2. Staff super patient and kind, I felt comfortable which is always something I appreciate at an eatery. 3. Atmosphere very inviting and different seating options available. VERY CLEAN, EVEN THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN which some places are a little iffy in terms of restrooms cleanliness. Will come again and many times after to try more of their menu and will be recommending to friends! New favorite spot in Clifton"

"Place was very trendy. Excellent service and the food was tasty. I'm not sure though I would return because it was very pricey. Two slices 6.50-8.50 each and a parm platter $18. Two sodas. 6.75 about $40 total for basically two grandma slices and a pasta platter. Anywhere else. $20 tops. It was an experience, which I did because I saw nonnas on the food network or on Instagram or something. Enjoy the experience. Bring your wallet. You won't see me there though, after all it's just pizza at the end of the day."

"Coming from out of State to see a show. Saw online regarding the reviews which were unbelievably fantastic. Food was outstanding. Joseph the owner and staff were so friendly and met your needs and always checked in to see if everything is ok. I would go back in a split second. Positive experience from the time we walked in until leaving."
