"31 of us went in at a time. two waitresses and a cook have drinks, our order and we were served in record time. eating was plentiful, tasty and moderate. the deserts were all made in the house and were delicious. incredible how friendly and efficient the waitresses were. would drive 100 miles away from eating again."

"We had quite a nice meal here, travelling through the state and this was a convenient stop while we stayed at the nearby Wick. We were not looking to spend a fortune and the online menu offered many choices and pleasantly modest prices. It's a cute place, a casual bar, dark with lots of old wood, so if you like that vintage bar feel you'll like it. The tables were near the bar, and the place was somewhat loud even at on a Thursday night, but we could hold a conversation. The staff were not officious, and not indifferent, they were happy to serve us, nothing bothered them, and I personally appreciated the absence of hovering and the spiel about my name is ____ and I'll be taking care of you.. They were pleasant and did their job without a lot of fanfare. Take a look at the photos of our meal. The onion soup (my husband got) was delicious I had a generous house salad, fresh, lots of tomatoes and carrots, and devoid of croutons as I like it. My salmon was good, but it didn't really seem like parmesan encrusted salmon so much as salmon with some parmesan sprinkled on, maybe a teaspoon. The spinach was fresh, and just fine, but a bit watery. That said, it was a good meal and My spouse's Schnitzel was good as well memorable? Not really, but we both left satisfied The light right over our table kept cutting out, and a lady sitting next to us had a persistent and (I'm sorry) gross cough. The latter is no one's fault Bottom line? It met our needs and I'm sure we would go again comfortable, good quality food and unfussy surroundings."

"What a lovely place. We stayed in Catskill for the weekend, and Gracie’s was a 6 minute drive away. There are windows all around the restaurant and the restaurant sits above a lovely view of woods and a creek. The food was great I got the country fried steak and eggs and my partner got the hot chicken biscuit. The coffee was tasty and fresh, and also produced by a local roaster. We got some doughnuts to go and they were amazing. Go here."
