"Superb, really does live up to the title 'the best poutine west of Montreal ' i ordered the double order smoked meat poutine, and my group ordered the breakfast special, with pancakes, and one with French toast. Both breakfasts looked quite tasty, and I sampled the pancakes, very tasty. A nice new treat for me was the coffee, with the addition of maple syrup I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch if your staying in the area. Oh the sugar shack doesn 't accept debit, only credit card and cash, Visa debit isn 't accepted either."

"This was our first visit to this establishment. My hubby, myself and our oldest daughter went in to dine and we brought home 2 meals for the 2 at home. Hubby started with a bowl of pea and ham soup. He asked for a cup but received such a large portion....it was amazing!! Our daughter ordered a Reuben Sandwich Platter that arrived with a mound of fresh cut fries. Hubby and I, ordered fried chicken platters and paid extra for white meat. I cannot say enough positive about these dinners. The chicken was unbelievably juicy and that is very rare with white meat. The coleslaw was sooooo good. The owner, is a beautiful woman....inside and out. She was very welcoming as we pulled up and asked due to Covid if she was open. She had a beautiful smile and welcomed us in and joked with us the entire time. Thank you Dusty Rose! For a wonderful dinner. We cannot wait to return for steak!!! We were told the steaks are awesome! Should be noted that Ribs were the special today and we were so torn on which dinner we should get. There is always future visits.....Cheers!!!"

"Mandy’s was a great little remnant just north of 70 Mile House, on Hwy 97, cooked at home meals. It closed and the Restraunt was rented by the Sun Nam Thia Restraunt, but it closed and moved to 100 Mile House. So no more mandys."
