"Was taken as a belated birthday treat, and what a treat. Absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be returning, but I might smuggle a tea-spoon in so I don't miss any of the sauces!"

"I stumbled across this today and what an absolute delight. The food was wholesome and superb, a real Japanese experience with two wonderful ladies cooking and serving. They were friendly, warm and welcoming, I could have spent all day there. It was atmospheric with quality food and could not believe how much value for money it was. I noticed one review said it was a limited menu, which you should never be afraid of as it means they do what they do extremely well and had everything you needed. I will be back and I urge people to support them."

"We were studying the menu in the window (as you do) when another couple who were going in to eat suggested we really should go in , and it was a lovely lady chef who makes all the food herself . We had also noticed and were impressed that they have 5 stars for hygiene. We were lucky enough to get a table on this occasion but I can imagine it is necessary to book in order to not be disappointed as they are small and its a small team and they take a lot of pride in the service. It 's a BYO so we popped to Tesco for some beers. Peter kindly brought an opener and we munched prawn crackers as we chose a few dishes. We had a starter of spring rolls to share and that was really fresh tasting and a lovely appetiser. Followed by a vegetable egg noodle dish and aubergines deliciously flavoured. The menu changes because we booked again for the following night we so enjoyed it. I Know restaurants are different things to different people but the food here is very tasty fresh and will leave you wanting to try more dishes. This place is tops. The food is obviously prepared and served with a lot of love. It was a lovely meal prepared and served by lovely people. No apologies for the gushing review as it is a rare experience to enjoy a meal so much. Chatting to Peter and Ani it was clear that they are passionate about the food they serve. Gareth was also working away in the background. Thanks to all and we will definitely be back. I 'm determined to try the special black rice coconut pudding."
