"The Beachburg Restaurant is a welcoming, delicious and reasonably priced spot that really gives that local experience. This place is and has been owned by one of the nicest and kindest families that you will ever meet for many, many years. Over this time they have become an important part of the community and welcome both locals and visitors with open arms. Lilly is an absolute pleasure to chat with and she and her husband are amazing cooks as well. The food is absurdly reasonably priced and is so, so good. Although Beachburg may seem like an odd place to find authentic Chinese food, this is exactly that. Lilly and her family moved to town directly from China and are anything but false. Drop in and give this wonderful little restaurant a try. You will be glad that you did."

"A terrific coffee and donut shop along the way in the valley. Fresh, homemade donuts and an outstanding blend of fresh coffee. The owner is friendly and very neighbourly. This is our go-to stop when we are biking near Cobden. Forget about Ti ies. They do sandwiches and grab-and-go meals. This is the real deal."
