I love this place. The egg sandwiches are so fresh and delicious. We came back for lunch and had subs that were delicious. The owner packs so much homemade Bratbeef in the sandwich, and the Italian sub reminded me of the Italian Delis elite where I grew up. The Cannolis are great! This place is not only the best deli in the area if it was in Brooklyn, it would also be the best deli. The owner is a very nice guy. He reminds me of the fruit and vegetable store owner where I grew up. If you go through the area, make sure you stop here. All foods are fresh and built with great care. Bring your appetite because the portions are generous.
The refugees are here. You need to see the hanging baskets to believe it! They are cheaper per basket/flat than anywhere I go. The Husband/Wife team is great when it comes to answering questions and helping in any way. The Deli counter is ALWAYS busy and the subs look huge! We love Perrones!
I originally rented a U-Haul from this Deli and the owner was ingenious to help with a U-Haul truck, I also considered some canolis and they were INCREDIBLE!!! I also noticed when the owner made a sandwich that he wanted to get piles of meat and fixations that almost wanted me to get one! Large family owned business with big owners, said enough!
I love this guy. He's an honest guy with a big sense of humor. The uhaul website lists a pickup truck available here, but they never had one. While you are here for a truck or van, look around his farm. He has beautiful hanging flower baskets. I also discovered some Nyc-style bakery!
Joe and his wife are fun to be around. They have a refreshing sense of humor that reminds me if the Italians I grew up with in Queens. The heroes he makes are jam packed and huge. The flower selection is great and they also have a U-Haul service. They have the only imported Proscuitto in the area as well.
