I’m a Canadian living in New England and haven’t had a truly satisfying poutine in YEARS. Finally made it to Chez Vachon after seeing them on tv. I knew as soon as I saw a picture of their poutine that it was the real deal, the one that’s been missing from my life… and it was everything I had hoped and dreamed of. Walked in and no one was waiting so we asked for a booth. We stood and watched a booth be cleaned off. Waited an additional 10 minutes and asked about the empty booth in the corner and was told the waitress needed a minute. We could at least of been seated and offered coffee. Nope. Walked out!
