Super friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere alone will bring me back. Not to mention the fresh and super tasty food! It's tough at first to overlook the dingy front room, but beyond that, it is a must try location for Japanese food. Edible. Not bad. But not authentic Japanese. Chinese-Japanese. If you like Chinese food, you'll probably enjoy the food. If you are looking for authentic Japanese, this is not it. My wife got the vegetable tempura; the batter was thick like typical battered fried food at Chinese restaurants. I got the katsu don; tasted like Chinese food; and was too soupy on the bottom; couldn't finish it. Salad dressing was watery.... read more.
