Reviews
Located near the South Shore Music Circus, Blu Mussel Tavern is a restaurant with a lot of potential but also some serious flaws. While the food was exceptional, the overall experience was marred by slow service, lack of knowledge in making basic cocktails, and a delay in opening their doors for customers. On the other hand, the Burmese restaurant provided a lackluster experience with tough meat dishes and lackluster flavors, prompting the reviewer to not return. Despite these negative experiences, other patrons enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes and exceptional service, making them eager to return and recommend the restaurant to others. Tony Ambrose, the chef and owner of Blu Mussel, is praised for his creative and superb dishes, but it seems like the restaurant may need a change in location to attract more customers. In summary, while Blu Mussel Tavern and the Burmese restaurant have their flaws, they still have the potential to provide a great meal for those willing to overlook some shortcomings, on average, Blu Mussel Tavern has been rated as 3.6.
