We went back to Colac for 5 years and had a late lunch at this place. We served delicious food. We ordered Honey Prawns and Thai Red Curry. Both were very taste...

"Staying in Colac area friends took me to this hotel for dinner on a Monday nightThe enclosed fire place was going well which we grabbed the table next to it The eating area was nice layer out well not cramped in close together We got our menus and what a surprise for a small country pub specials and lots to choose from as well I had the Fishermen Basket it was great so well cooked and presented I could not finish it but there was another reason for that as I wanted the Apple and rhubarb crumble as out great waitress said it was very good and she was right it wasI went back a couple of night later with my daughter for my lady night in Colac tried the garlic and cheese pizza needed more garlic but I love garlic by the way Then I had the special 400g steak with Mash potato and vegs with red wine sauce this was fantastic my steak was cooked spot on medium so tender and the sauce was so good no room for dessertThis place is so worth the drive a great menu to choose from a great cook in the kitchen and a very nice dining room and setting and they do breakfast on the weekends Don't pass up this place if in the area go there hungry it's so worth it"

"Ordered the vegetarian plate as I am a strict vegetarian for environmental reasons and have been for almost 12 months now. It came with a kofta which it described was vegetarian. I took a bite to discover it was in fact lamb as confirmed by...the other people I was dining with. I believe this to be completely ethically wrong and absolutely disgusting. I will not be returning. Ever."
