Really great spot for fish and chips. Reasonable pricing and very large portions. Street parking in front of the restaurant.

Friendly staff. Fast service. Seats 33 people on 5 tables. Eat or take. Wheelchair accessible entrance. TV for extra entertainment.

"You are never sure if you have picked well when taking that rest break on a Lo g road trip. If you enjoy coffee this might be the one for you. If it is good then there may be better options. No menu just take a look in the fridges at prepared items of great variety and most look fresh. The items we selected were ok? Did we make the best selection in the town we will never know."

"OK country restaurant. Just off the main road in Colac is Oddfellows, it's nicely fitted out, with friendly staff welcoming you in (albeit a little odd they were eating lunch at the bar at 12:30pm, i.e. when they are busiest). Some heating on in the restaurant wouldn't go astray. Overall the food was ok, and being used to city prices didn't seem to bad, an ok place to stop for lunch, but wouldn't go out of my way for it."

"We ate last night in la porchetta in colac. it was incredibly busy with almost every table full and children everywhere! However, every employee with whom we interacted, polite, friendly and efficient, although they must have run away from their feet. we had an excellent meal and were really impressed by the way this restaurant runs."

"We went here for dinner based on the great reviews and were utterly disappointed. Firstly service was poor, we waited more than 10 mins before I finally got up and ordered at the registered. The food came out fast! Too fast. Some of the ingredients...were cold mixed in with hot ingredients. I ordered the Pad See U, not a piece of Chinese broccoli and some of the vegetables were cold like they were taken out of the fridge and tossed for a couple hoping they would be cooked. Flavours were there but this place goes to the bottom of the list of Thai food I have eaten in Australia. Whoever is working in the kitchen definitely needs to work on their knife skills... on this later. My partner ordered the Pad Thai chicken. And after the first hair in the food, it wasn 't endearing. But the worst thing of all was the chicken. The chicken was 'chopped ' not sliced in an assortment of shapes and sizes, and some of the larger pieces were cold and pink in the middle. Same could be said for my beef but less of an issue. Would not return."
