Some of these comments are quite funny that their every week posted lol but anyway last weekend I came down to play Footy and after my game I had the best chips...

Beautiful clean and friendly atmosphere and well filled, fish and chips are one of the best and a variety of really good takeaway food, I would highly recommend...

Sweet milk bar that feels very nostalgic. Great selection of sweets. The staff is also very friendly

"This Cafe is clean and neat with art work on display that is for sale. It's centrally located and the host Sandi is very welcoming and always wears a smile. There's a good selection of cooked to order food on the menu with focaccias and cakes depending on your liking. They make great coffee's and they also have a small selection of alcohol. We're slowly making our way through the menu and thus far all dishes have been more than acceptable, well presented and not over sized portions. It's a country Cafe and it does a great job."

"We had been given a gift pack of beer from the Forrest Brewing Company and had resolved to visit on our next road trip. We arrived on a cold winter day with the rain absolutely lashing down and made a run for the Brewery door. We went straight to the bar and as it happens the owner was over the taps. Considering he must be there all day every day he was a bundle of enthusiasm and had us tasting and comparing the range ..... we went with the Block Splitter and the Irish Red and ordered lunch. We went with the soup and a serve of fish and chips. Excellent pub type lunch - the soup hot and tasty, the fish moist and the chips hot and salty. What more could you ask for ? Great vibe, happy staff, big crowd , happy days !"

"We went to Brae for our wedding anniversary. It had been on my list for years, and this was the perfect reason to tick it off the bucket list. I had read many reviews, so knew the standout would be the accommodation, which didn’t disappoint. It was modern, spacious, and relaxing. Very lovely. However, I wasn’t sure what to expect regarding the food based on what I had heard from others. Disappointingly, we were underwhelmed by the food. I’m not quite sure how to explain it, other than we only loved 2 of the dishes, and we didn’t finish a few dishes because they weren’t very nice (even basic things, like the bread and home made butter). Some flavours were strong and overpowering, and other dishes were bland the balance was off. There were limited non alcoholic drinks on the menu for those not drinking. In our view, our lunch was certainly not worth the price tag, and I’d be spending my time and money at other fine dining restaurants instead."
