"Everyone has dreams, but not everyone reaches them. For a short time on 4. In January 2023 I reached mine and had a perfect meal in Moinho Dom Quixote. Let me tell you the story... My friend and I arrived early in the evening, just as the sun dived over the horizon and poured a golden shine over the back garden. It was stunning and filled with many plants, paths and tables distributed on several levels. At first we could not decide where we sit next to the small fish pond or on the veranda overlooking the view below? Shortly after the arrival we were met by an attentive waiter who could offer us a room, even if we had no reservation and despite our choice of sitting in the interior was still very friendly and accommodating. When we entered, I realized that the interior almost looked like a man's house with many drinks from all over the world attached to the walls. Boat anchors, turtles and African wood carvings decorated the walls and a large model of a swordfish suspended from the ceiling. There was a car wheel embedded in the inner wall, which was attached as a window to another dining area and colorful paintings on the ceiling. A small dog slept on a chair at a table next to us, while another, called Luca, padded around occasionally a lonely bark at nothing above all. World portugese music washed over us and gave the place a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Finally, a chandelier of large branches has finished a colorful and spherical glass balls hanging in tie rope, the rustic tone of the place. My friend noticed that it was really thoughtfully decorated. We sat down and looked at the menu that on its first page tells you the history of the restaurant. bought in 1983, it was found in a decayed state and took 6 years of planning, planting and renovation for the owner to see that his dreams come and opened in summer '89. The menu now includes a number of tapas as well as some other traditional dishes there is something for everyone. We ordered appetizers and a main soup and sourdough bread with an olive scattering delivered a delicious hit and whetted our appetite for our main: a Texi Burger, and chickpea Burger. They gave generous portions and the cook had no additional ingredients. Unlike most other restaurants, they make their own sauces here we fucked in homemade Mayo, tomatoes and spicy sauce. Next to Patty, my burger came with dressed salad, onions and healthy portions of guacamole, which from the side on the plate as I stabbed. In addition, we were equipped with “rusty potatoes” in a black skill. It was all delicious. With a breath from the inhalation of my food I looked around the room and saw a pair that Luca had discovered, the Labrador slept on the ground, just like a car parked ostentatily in the middle of a cross, he was completely oblivious for the traffic around him in the form of waiters and people around his periphery. All this is to say, Moinho Dom Quixote delivers in every aspect of the incredible food and presentation, to the beautiful environments, friendly staff and impossible to beat atmosphere. If you want to cook rustic style food for perfection, this is the place to come."

"As there are a shortage of bars in Cascais we decided to give this one a try. I wouldn't recommend going if you have any issue with smoke as they do allow smoking inside. It was nice and cool on a warm evening with all the windows open and the staff were friendly but I wouldn't rush back."

"We were in need of a Burger but not a Mac or King like type. Something more traditional. After a while we choose this one after reading some reviews and by the fact it was the very near our location. Good decoration, trying a little bit like vintage decor, good light and we were well received. On the menu we have basically burguers and some entries italian style. Burguers chosen and after a while we were served. The service could be better. They dont need to put entries on the table if we dont ask for them. They should always ask if you want your burguer medium rare or other. They should always know the names of the burguers they are serving and not just forget the names and try to guess them in front of your client. Burger are fine but lack some flavour specially if they come to table too cooked. French fries are normal."
