"Lisa and Dave are so inviting that you could easily bask in their cosy, warm and friendly surroundings all day long. They truly create a very special place, somewhere that stays in your mind and sticks to your heart. Their food is fantastic. I find a small savoury selection is a true sign of a confident master chef. The patties are the very best I’ve tasted, the cheesey scone was delicious and the soup was packed with flavour! The cake selection is phenomenal even if you are full, take a mini selection of treats or a slice of cake home otherwise you will regret it! I fondly dream of a pattie, a good ol’mug of tea, whilst soaking up the warmth of love and soft reggae music that exudes from The Loft."

"Had a very nice breakfast here with colleagues on the way to a funeral. The food was beautifully done and the waitress was very helpful (not sure if her name but I think she had a South African accent). Lovely surroundings and cute tea cosy on the teapots!"

"Perfect small tea room! a table for 7 booked, including small child on bank holiday Monday and the staff could not have been more helpful. scones and cakes are amazing and beautiful sandwiches for small. my daughter loved her huge milkshake and we enjoyed a delicious cup of loose leaf tea. will be returning"

"We visited for the first time today (29/07/21) we ordered a cheese tomato omelette, a cheese panini, tea latte. There were no paninis left so I settled for a cheese toastie. We waited nearly 25 minutes whilst people who came in after us were served before us. The omelette was ok. The toastie wasn't it consisted of 2 slices of white bread, slightly toasted on the outside soggy on the inside with tasteless, unmeltedcheese in the middle. There was a tired, unappetising garnish on both meals. The latte was ok the tea was too weak to make the top of the cup! The ladies who served were lovely but the bearded chap really needs a short course in customer relations! Definitely won't go back or recommend."

"It has been a while since we had been to Bella Pais, but on a Sunday evening it was packed as usual but still a warm welcome was received. We opted for prawn cocktail, king prawns and halloumi for starters, which all went down extremely well. The starters are on the larger side of portions. Mains were the chicken kebab and t-bone steak. The steak was huge, cooked a perfect medium rare and was seasoned well. The sides of chips, salads and sauce simply served to fill us up even more. Great food, decent prices and the same friendly, personable service as always."
