What shantyman56 doesn't like about The Vines:
We went for the first time on a Friday lunchtime. It wasn't particularly busy. My wife ordered the lasagna with which she was very happy and which she felt was homemade. I ordered the fish and chips which was fine enough, and was two pieces of battered fish. One piece tasted like it had been reheated, whilst the other felt more freshly cooked. It was delivered much too quickly to be fresh. It tasted fine though. View all feedback. What Beehiverocks likes about The Vines:
Found the Vines via a Google search of places to stop on the way home from a visit to the North Coast with visitors. The restaurant looked good and there were just one other table occupied when we arrived. The menu is simple and offered good value with 2 courses for £10. read moreThe Vines in Garvagh has received a mix of reviews, with some visitors having a fantastic experience. The menu offers good value, with options like the 4-course Christmas menu and 2 courses for £10. The food, especially the chips and desserts, received high praise, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, there were complaints about mix-ups with orders and lack of vegetarian options. Overall, The Vines seems to cater well to those seeking a casual dining experience with generous portions, but improvements could be made in certain areas.
