Shockingly poor and inattentive service. Either understaffed or poorly managed. Either way, you should give it a miss.
Went here for breakfast before leaving Coles Bay, but unable to have a cooked breakfast as it was "before 11am".

"Loved this place. Went back twice. Scallop pies, chicken and camembert pie and home made ice cream all to die for. Yummm. Staff very friendly. Everything reasonably priced."

"Highly recommended! The sea view from the restaurant and bar areas is incredible, make sure to be there at sunset and you'll live a magic, timeless moment. ️ Our room was really big, clean and provided all the comfort we needed. In it we also found a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine: five stars only for that! If you spend the night here, most likely it's because you want to visit the Freycinet National Park, and this hotel is best positioned exactly for that, being only a few minutes away from the start of the most famous hikes. The food at the hotel's restaurant was amazing, both at dinner and also at breakfast. Especially at dinner, we tried local oysters, scallops with nduja, fish as main course... All very, very good. A fun fact: while we were there, most of the staff was from Spain, not sure why but I found that interesting. Needless to say, all were welcoming and polite."

"A great way to celebrate the completion of a hike in Freycinet National Park, is with some local seafood in a fisherman's basket, washed down with a cold drink and topped off with a delicious ice cream. All with amazing views of The Hazards."

"I know this is on the expensive side, however it is worth the money. The experience starts as soon as you drive your car in to the Saffire. Staff met us with the buggy, took our car keys and took care of the luggage. We didn’t even need to open the car boot! Firstly, it includes breakfast lunch and dinner. All quality fine dining food with matching wines. The service from staff is impeccable and they all do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The experiences are including in the price. The highlight was the oyster tour. This is exclusive to Saffire whereby guest have freshly shucked oysters on the bay. The bee hive tour was also great, rob is the biggest bee nerd who runs wild hives. At the very end we tried all the honey with a cheese board. Tasmanian devil tour was great too I learnt A lot about the devils. The room was very spacious and comfortable. You can also walk to the beach from the resort, about a 5 10min walk. Everything was fantastic ! The wines were all quality wines!"
