What a nice place to stop for lunch!! Was en route to Cape Town and stopped in Colesberg. Found this little place and had some AMAZING food for lunch. People here are super friendly and made our stop worth it!! And price wise..... this was a bargin!!!!! View all feedback.

The last time I was here was in 2021. I received great service and food back then but yesterday after almost 2 years of not visiting the joint, I was disappointed. The waitress was nice but they served us raw steak after asking for well done meat, it was cold and their heaters were not working and they couldn't provide us with a movable heater. Love the food, you have to stop here, even the accommodation is great for a stay overnight. Real old house with pressed steel sealing.

"Sweet little restaurant in Colesberg. Had the most delicious pumpkin fritters; reminded me of my granny’s. I ate the karoo platter a LOT of lamb which made for an incredibly rich in fat meal but it was delicious. Wine selection is tiny."

"Just want to compliment you on your rude staff members. Just asked politely at the counter to please clean the table with a cloth beacuse it was so oily dirty, a few minutes later the woman comes and throws a wet cloth on the table, without making eye contact or saying anything and walks off, just leaves it there for us to clean up after them. After taking the cloth back to the rude lady they just laugh it off. We were there on Sunday 9 October 2022 between 13:00 and 13:40. Those ladies clearly don't deserve their jobs there as they do damage to your business."
