"Was okay. In colesberg, you don't have many options, so beggers can't be choosers. We hit it on a Monday afternoon as a halfway stopover and we're the only ones there. The place lacked atmosphere and you could hear the crickets. Food was average and I found the prices above normal. Service however was good."

"Sweet little restaurant in Colesberg. Had the most delicious pumpkin fritters; reminded me of my granny’s. I ate the karoo platter a LOT of lamb which made for an incredibly rich in fat meal but it was delicious. Wine selection is tiny."

"We always stop at Engen Colesberg between Cape Town and Gauteng, where there is always fresh food and friendly service. After a rough start this morning with a flat tyre, Xolelwa and Lisakhanya brightened the day with their big smiles and helpful service. Keep up the good work team."
