"We had dinner here last night everything was fabulous! Lindy was our waitress. She was exceptional knows the menu inside out, made perfect recommendations for food ‘Mootinis’ was friendly, funny took great care with making sure our evening was delicious and seamless. There are no words to accurately describe the dinner amazing, melt in your mouth with portions so flexible one doesn’t need to over eat! Kudos to the chef!! Don’t forget the cheesy corn crazy good!!! Definitely 5 stars but would like to see a little better selection of wine but this did in no way detract from our dinner. Thanks to Lindy, the Chef The Big Steer!!"

"Recommend making a reservation here simply due to the high foot traffic that could arrive anytime. Adreyn did amazing job with us and is a great server. I had the NY Strip and split the spinach dip washing down with an smoked old fashion and an Seven Mile Merlot glass. So far the best place I have found in the whole state of Iowa!"

"I must say, this salsa was some of the best salsa I’ve had, I eat a lot of Mexican food! The flavor was all there in my meal, very tasty. The only issue was that my fajita quesadilla had little to no cheese. It was essentially the meat veggies wrapped in a grilled tortilla. The food inside kept falling out because there was hardly any cheese in there to hold it together. But otherwise a nice small town joint!"

"Remember this is a restaurant inside of a hotel. I wasn't expecting a 5 star meal. Pizza we ordered was good. The daily specials are pretty reasonable. Staff leaves more to be desired. We waited long time to get drinks, to get our order taken etc. it was about 45 mins to get our food after already being there about 45 mins. Not sure if staffing is an issue but definitely was not great service. Lots of TVS to watch sports so my son enjoyed that. We probably wouldn't have ate there if it wasn't in the hotel itself."
