"Place is located in a less crowded street, but still close to the city centre. Service was good, they bring fresh bread and olive oil to taste during waiting. We tried various dishes, all were very good. I went with the rabbit (not on the menu) and it was delicious and well cooked. Desserts are great and it is worth trying. The price is sufficient for the place and the food served. Recommended"

"Great value for money In connection with our holiday stay at the Hotel Sovestro near San Gimignano, we used restaurant Da Pode, which is part hotel and a restaurant. It was a fantastic experience. We ended up eating there several times. We tried several different dishes. They were all super prepared and tasty. In addition to this, the staff were top notch. Really good service, listened to our wishes, etc. There is also the possibility to drink the place 's own wines with the food It was really a good experience. Beautiful wines (and Grappa), there were both traditional and new wines on the menu. Perfect for the food. The restaurant is in the Michelin guide as a Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking. It serves delicious Tuscan cuisine. Thank you for some wonderful evenings in the Tuscan sunset, with wonderful food, service and wine."
