we visited the tavern on the 12th august and had very high expectations. it is wonderfully situated and offers a great view with san gimignano in the background. most meals and the service were however different. I will skip the small incidents and only say that the bistecca fiorentina was clear: it had a clear smell that no edible meat should have. we had more than a few dozen fiorentinas on toscana, so we know how...
