Great interior with alternative vibe all over. I just popped in for a quick cold drink, and loved every minute of it. What a little gem!

"We love this cafe/bar/restaurant and have camped in their grounds twice now. I always find the ambience and service of a cafe is improved when the owner works in it as they do here. The origins of the building as a School are clear, but the service and the ambience are entirely appropriate for a beachy settlement far away from city life. It's laid-back and relaxed, but with great personalised service, and a range of different kinds of tables inside and out to suit your style. The menu is excellent for a cafe with a challenging supply chain, with plenty of food on your plate at a reasonable price. A place we plan to return to."

"We only had coffee snacks. What is that? Located in a historic building, this is one of the most beautiful restaurants / cafes we visit in NZ. The service was great, the coffee with soy milk was delicious, so was the raw energy disc. Beloved that they do not offer paper cups for coffee 2 you can borrow metals. "What an Absolutely Amazing place, not being biased but upon entering the car park the music got me, could if stayed all day. The staff member was lovely and the coffee is worth going that far for. O and the Peacock Peahens were great for the kids."
