"Gamboa Rainforest Resort is such a treat! It is impossible to believe it was only 45 minutes from Panama City but felt a world away. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. Tropical and lush. Our room overlooking the river was large and clean with a balcony and hammock! Great big bathroom. All staff was very, very friendly. We did a tour of the sloth sanctuary which was wonderful as well as the Panama Canal and river. Saw so much wildlife and met lots of nice people. The pool was huge and such a nice respite from the heat. Would definitely recommend this resort!"
