The owner squeezes us in, after his 4 tables take his capacity to the edge. Fish or meat, our reply fish is met with a tray of recently deceased sea life, ready for him to cook. A tray of stunning cured pork and cheese keep the ho hum bread upscaled, until our salad, spuds, peppers and fish arrive. Our host must have been with other tables when the alarm went on our fish, leaving it worse for the extra minutes...but hey, he's 1 man with 5 tables and much to do. The gratis dessert and house white hit the spot, and we pay with full bellies, enamoured with the knowledge that solo men can make lives better.
