Stayed with my girlfriend, my parents, and niece (2 rooms). Great chalet feel, wood throughout. We arrived at 9 PM (1 hour ahead of BC), the kitchen was closed/ing, but they let us settle in and served us supper. Great food, homemade bread and butter, and great hospitality.The location is BF nowhere, but in winter, it wouldn't be too far from the slopes. You definitely could get in some cross country skiing. Searched for a chalet in Banff using booking.com, unfortunately, stupid enough to trust it as it's never failed me before. Turns out Alexa chalets are 200k further than Banff and in a different state. Despite that, the chalets are nice and cosy. Breakfast was fine....The local area left a lot to be desired.
