What Russ Duker likes about Glenn's Cafe:
Great location, excellent service. Market Salad was large and a nice flavor but nothing exceptional. I added the salmon to the salad I asked for it to be blackened. They did blacken the salmon, but they also overcooked it until dry. The salmon portion was 2 small pieces.The gumbo soup bowl was ample and flavorful. Extra star for the stellar fast, friendly service.Was at the Tiger for an event, snuck down to order to go lunch. Ordered a winter salad and added steak they asked how to cook it, ordered mid rare (knowing since it's to go it may be slightly past that).The salad itself was crisp and delicious but the $9 added steak was tiny, tough, and overcooked to the point of being burnt.
