Smoked - Columbia

Went to smoked to celebrate 2 birthdays. Waitress new we were celebrating. Took our orders and after enjoying our appetizers, dinners came out. One of our family ordered a side salad with his entree. The side salad came out with all other entrees but not his entree. Waited a few min asked waitress, order was never put in. It took another 15-20 min to get his meal. We were all done eating. This was so so disappointing especially since waitress joked with him about his entree choice when he ordered. No one from management team ever came over to apologize. Waitress said she new. If new, should have had someone working with her if new. We didn't pay for that entree but just absolutely disappointing. Very expensive restaurant to have such poor customer service. I would never go therevagain.

It was okay. The food was pretty expensive for what it was. I don’t recommend getting the seafood dip. There was no lump crab, shrimp or oysters in it. It tasted like orange queso, with cream cheese. The burnt ends taco wasn’t good, and neither was the filet and fries. The server was really nice though.

Where do I begin… a friend had been recommending this restaurant as an upscale option. Our family eats out a lot and we’ve tried almost every available restaurant in Columbia. With that said, Smoked was a one and done for us. Price-astronomical. Food-unremarkable. Service- blah. Not impressed at all. The only thing they offer is atmosphere. If you want to spend $500+ on a meal, drive to Charleston and get excellent food and service.

Zach was awesome as the waiter. Having a big party can be challenging however he handled it well. If you are able to dine in, try to get in Zach's section. Food and atmosphere was perfect. Will have to go back.
