"Glad I'm not the owner... the handful of negative reviews would make me angry! I've been enjoying their food for almost 20 years... Growing up in KC I have high standards for BBQ and this place nails it every time. Ham and brisket are always well trimmed (no fat to speak of) service is always fast. Beans and coleslaw are the best I've ever found... And if you are in the mood for a change the Pit Salad with half turkey and half ham is to DIE for..."

"Listen, the food here is some of the best in Columbia.Their atmosphere and service should set the bar for any other place in town.Get the home fries! They're cooked to perfection! Add some, or all of the serrano vinegar! Oyster mushroom or sausage gravy, they're both fantastic! And their mimosa is to die for!My only gripe, don't order the bloody Mary. I'm not sure if it was a new bartender, or maybe whoever made this recipe never had one before, but it was tough to get through.Everything else... A+ and I will be returning!"
