"Cute little country style restaurant. We stopped here for breakfast while on our way to Houston. The food is very simple but pretty tasty. Fairly inexpensive. The restaurant located across from a historic settler home in the town of Columbus. It was fun to take pictures, explores and learn new things especially after having a nice breakfast."

"We decided to try this place on Valentines Day. We expected it to be busy and maybe have to wait. We were greeted with smiles and a ready booth. It was exactly 6pm. Our server was Jessica N. She was attentive and friendly. I ordered a medium ribeye and onion straws. The onion straws were perfect. The ribeye didn't have much taste. I was hoping the steak would be as good as the ones at Texas Roadhouse. I added butter, salt, and pepper. Nothing gave it the taste I was expecting or hoping for...it was just very bland. My husband ordered the Border Sampler. It had shrimp jalapeno poppers, cheese and chicken quesadillas, coconut shrimp, and BBQ baby back ribs. He said everything was delicious. I almost forgot to mention that the salad bar came with our meals. It has a lot to offer and plenty of choices. It was one of the best parts of the meal. We both had large enough portions of our main dish for a second meal and brought home leftovers. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The restrooms were clean. Everything was perfection, except for the steak. We might try them again in the future when we're back in the area."
