drive them across land during covid and hard winter its not always easy to find vegan food, so we try to stay at qdoba, Mexican restaurants and sushi places. this place is a fusion restaurant, so they look like they have something of everything. we had added the castors to the vegetable sampler rolls, vegetables pad thai (not with eggs) and extra mixed sweet rolls. it was very tasty, especially the mandelrolles and m... What User doesn't like about Lemon Grass Fusion Bistro:
Service was slow. I think 1 server for entire room on a Saturday night. We had various sushi which while good was nothing to set it apart. Very loud environment but if you are looking for an energetic hang out at the bar for a couple hours it would be cool. But sitting at a table it was hard to hear. I would have rated a little higher if service was better. Not servers fault. View all feedback.
Okay, Google...I never leave reviews (trust me, feel free to fact-check), so obviously, this experience had me shook... so here we go.I came into the bar tonight with my buddy for $5 whiskeys. Everything was going great until I had mentioned to my friend how much admiration I had for Japanese people regarding their hard work ethic, exceptional discipline, various other positive traits, etc. Unprompted, the bartender decides to chime in on the conversation by saying how much these people have a messed-up personal life and a ton of sexual perversion issues. My friend and I were obviously taken aback by these racist remarks but did our best to relax the situation. I told the bartender that I had Asian relatives, but he dismissed this and walked away.About 10 minutes later, we received our checks. We didn 't ask for the checks. I double-checked with my buddy to make sure I wasn 't delusional. We were at a bar, having drinks, and generally enjoying ourselves... but were clearly being asked to leave. We didn 't make a scene, but we were obviously perturbed by the whole situation. You would think that the Short North, of all places, would be receptive to people of various cultures and backgrounds. To be honest, I think this was my first experience ever of being asked... without words... to leave a bar.We didn 't cause any trouble, bother other patrons, or do anything else to receive this sort of treatment. Just beware... if you come into Lemongrass... you better not say anything nice about Japanese people ??
Lemongrass is so good! Great menu, amazing service … but it’s loud. Not a deal-breaker, but it was noticeable. Everything we ordered was top-notch and we were very well taken care of by staff. Would go again!Food: 5/5
Service was extremely slow.SCALOPED SCALLOPS was TO DIE FOR!! so yummy! As are the the fried biscuits! Heavenly! The soup was a tasty broth. The Zucchini Tofu had great flavors i just wish the sauce wasn’t so runny.
We'll start with positives, The waiter was friendly and attentive, and the seafood rangoon was genuinely good. That's where the positives end. Upon walking into the restaurant it smelled like rotten fish. The lack of physical menus is very annoying.Ordered the fried rice by recommendation of our waiter. The meat that came in our dish looked as if it was over cooked in boiling water. All the meats were overcooked and gray. The flavor of the dish wasn't inedible, but I have certainly had significantly better. What really bothers me more than anything, two orders of fried rice, one order of seafood ragoon (which was four pieces) and a single coke. My bill came to over $60 with tip. For the quality of food I was served, I feel absolutely ripped off. My girlfriend and I were celebrating our one-year anniversary... Our day was amazing, this was a rather large speed bump in the day that I would prefer to forget.
Spontaneously we came up to the heart of Columbus on memorial day, Big thanks for You being open and feeding us with delicious food.
