"My husband and I visit umis pretty regularly. The staff is always very kind but there is one in particular that put a very bitter taste in my mouth. It took me until now to find out her name but I did and she is the manager Alicia. The way I have seen her speak to her employees is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING these poor kids are just trying to do their jobs and have to worry about being yelled at in front of customers which I find extremely unprofessional. This has been the 3rd time we’ve witnessed this and I’m close to calling the owner over it. I’ve been a manager of many restaurants myself and if I spoke to my employees that way I would EXPECT extreme consequences for my behavior. We will not be back if we see her in the restaurant."

"Haven't been back since last year, but just like last year it was amazing! The service is great, very polite and knowledgeable wait staff. The food was amazing. The NY Strip is one the best!!! And as always it's very cozy and classy."

"Nice surprise in downtown Columbus, MS. Atmosphere is cozy pub style casual. Ordered fried green tomatoes and red beans and rice. Both were very tasty. Fried green tomatoes were covered with a remoulade sauce that was good but would probably get on the side next time. Red beans and rice were seasoned well and served in a good portion size. Will visit again, have plenty of items on the menu that peaked my interest."

"Was very disappointed on my service tonight. My food was cold and when I informed the manager he told me that he put the food in the window himself and that steak gets cold quickly. The fact that he offered to re heat my meat and not remake my food was a red flag for me. When I tried to talk to John about it he basically didn’t want to hear it. So I asked for corporates number and then Mr. John wanted to talk and offered to cover my meal. I declined because it’s not about the money it’s about the customer service. We have to do better Mr. John"
