The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and provides excellent service. It is very well-maintained. The turkey sandwich was delicious, with a juicy and generous portion of turkey. The house fries were fresh and tasty. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Press Pub On 5th Grandview:
I ordered a single old fashioned and was charged $16.50 for it. Thats a price you wouldn’t even pay for a really nice drink at a craft cocktail bar. The drink was not even that good. Was really syrupy and over sweet. I called to ask the manager about it assuming I was double charged and was told they could do nothing about it and the price was correct. I told him I wasn’t informed it would be an almost $20 drink and... View all feedback.
Never had a bad experience that this place has become a staple in my weekly routine. the calamari lachs sandwich hüttenfries are the best! best ranch dressing and the personal are amazing that they give the best recommendations and are so friendly. I am looking forward to coming here in the future.
A huge list of drinks and a full bar. we didn't eat anything, but everyone had good drinks and the service was sometimes slow, but still good. there is a small parking space in front, which is beautiful and comfortable. see this place
Press has some of the best food in Grandview and has consistently delivered when we've gone. Their wings and sandwiches are great. Overall a great selection of craft beers and all at pretty solid prices. The service we've had on the patio and sittingat the bar has been great.
It was my first time coming here and I must say the service is absolutely horrible and the food wasn’t much better. Ordered a steak medium rare and it came out WELL. The server, an older lady, seemed annoyed the entire time and was clearly inconvenienced by us being there. So, 1 star is an overstatement. I’d actually give it 0 stars if I could. This place is definitely worth avoiding. There’s plenty of other places to eat with better food and much much better service in the same area. Absolutely horrible experience. Avoid if possible!
I don't understand how this is part of the same group as the location in the Short North. It feels more like a cautionary tale on how not to expand a successful restaurant. The atmosphere is practically non-existent, as if they overspent or ran out of money on decorations and ended up with a dull, corporate atmosphere. The only good thing on the menu was the Mac and Cheese; everything else seemed to be bland and reheated from a frozen package. The Short North location is fabulous, with an amazing team, great vibes, and delicious food in a cool space. Unfortunately, this new location feels like they hired a manager from Olive Garden to open and run it, which is disappointing.
