This does not appear to be a Taco Bell anymore, it’s just a KFC. All the Taco Bell signage and menus have been removed from the outside and drive thru.

"Really enjoyed our lunch at DLK We had seen them on Restaurant Impossible and were excited to stop in.We were very warmly welcomed upon entering and the place is charming. Was neat to see what Chef Irvine his team had done with the place and Ray his team are taking great care of it.I ordered the fried salmon bites, collard greens, sweet potato tots sweet tea, and my hubby ordered a dozen wings, patty mely, fried okra, and coke zero. We satbdown at a cozy 2-seater table, but our sweet waitress said with all the food coming, we would have much elbow room she wanted to let us know. We took her word and moved to a 4-seater table nearby.She was right! Omg! Great servings for great price (as you can see from pics) and it was delicious! The salmon bites were paired with a spicy Asian sauce that was delicious, the greens were perfect, and those tender tots were perfect. My hubby really enjoyed his patty melt (as did I when I tasted it!)that was flavorful and hit you from the first taste of the crisp tender bread rich with butter. I kept stealing his okra, which was also just right and ate at least half his wings! Lol. Said I was hungry!!!We will be back again as I want to try out his ox tail as well as the catfish bites and banana pudding.Next time you're up that way between Lake Lure and Grand Dads Orchard, please stop in. "Hi, my family has been eating fish camp at Lake Bowen for 40 years. It is always a great experience with some of the best seafood you get so far from the coast. I remember when they painted all the walls in the building and it's always fun to see everything. The various designs that complement the ambience of the restaurant. Well worth a stop and always worth a second visit."

"Had a really bad experience. Walked in and because we saw counters the minute we entered we assumed it was counter service. No one corrected us nor was there any signage saying you should sit and people would come to your table. We ended up being snapped at from an honest failure to understand the system. Then, still confused, I approached the counter and asked for a to go cup I was told I was cutting in front of patiently waiting customers. At no time did anyone tell was we should do we were just scolded for doing it wrong. I can only assume that most customers are locals who know what to do automatically. The really odd thing is they have signs throughout the restaurant talking about friendship and being nice and yet they weren't nice to us. Food was ok but the whole experience was unhappy."
