"Passion Como is the best food in the Lake Como area. Period. Forget the pizza and the pasta and the tiramisus. Get yourself a sandwich in Passion Como and I guarantee you it's the only thing you'll want to eat for your stay in the town. Putting how amazing the taste was aside for a second, just sit yourself down on the bench outside the store and you'll really see what community is about, with the local shopkeepers all conversing, locals stopping to talk to the friendly, vibrant owners. This is the place you had in mind when you said you wanted to eat real Italian food, because you get to understand the kind of heart and loving people behind it just a little tiny bit. So if you're in Como and you're craving food, culture, memories, take ten minutes to sit outside Passion Como, enjoy a sandwich, drink a beer and be mindful that it doesn't get better than this."

"We loved this bar and it has a fantastic beer shop attached with some rare gems that are tough to find in the UK (not just Italian beers). The owner is great fun, very friendly, they have about 8 craft beers on draught, from all sorts of places. The beer is kept really well, and you can drink beers purchased in the shop in the bar too.
