"Good food, but restaurant needs some cleaning up. Dining room carpet is torn and not clean. Exterior is looking rundown. There was a sign on the kitchen door asking patrons to stand clear of the door, which is fine, but the added line written in black felt unless you like being hit by the door kind of sets a bad tone."

"Great food from the Country Market Cafe! We've gone a couple times now and have enjoyed everything we've ordered. I recommend their quesadilla and sausage rolls! We'll definitely be back for more."

"OMG! The pizza here is super-cala-fragilistic-firetrucking-deliciousnesserestly. YOU HAVE TO STOP HERE FOR PIZZA. Friendly staff, amaz-balls amount of lip-smacking refreshing drinks, MONSTER COOKIES, coffee, everything to to make belly town happy!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

"A few members of the club dined at Ted 's today. Our waiter Amber was rude and unprofessional from the start. She was extremely unaccommodating with the 2 celiac allergies. After specifying the gluten allergy my food came out with a fully gluten bun that I did eat part of before I noticed. When I told her that it was a gluten bun she responded with well it happens and never apologized or offered a discount. We specifically asked her to make a note of the allergy but it was clear she never did as the gluten free bun was absent from the bill. I am super unsatisfied with my visit and I definitely would not suggest this place to people with allergies. On top of all of this, we heard Amber mocking our table to other servers and being rude and rushed to other guests. She was quite possibly the rudest server I have ever had and I would hate for her to make a bad name for the restaurant because the other staff were very sweet."

"Sad to say this once amazing restaurant is absolute garbage. Not only is it expensive, in the middle of no where, but now it’s not edible. We got Chow Mein, Almond Chicken, Chicken balls, teriyaki pork, sweet sour pork, and prawns. It was all batter...uncooked...batter and no food. This was once an amazing gem, that has given up and cashing out. I’ve heard the buffet was good still but the last orders of take out go into the garbage for bucks and an hour drive from Comox. Hope one day they come around but clearly not at the moment."
