What User likes about L'artuby:
We stopped here for lunch on a Friday after driving through the Verdon gorge. Everything else was closed due to winter. Expecting a regular roadside restaurant, we ordered soup and a salad. The soup, called pistou, was excellent, similar to minestrone but full-bodied and packed with vegetables. The salad was a niçoise, very precise, and done to perfection. "This lovely little restaurant is run by the chef and a waitress who between them serve up a beautiful meal of local traditional food, with good wines and a price that is reasonable for the area.We went twice during our stay, paying €50 each, the first time (starters, the beef for two, desert, and including wine and service charge) and then €35 each for excellent lamb. Everything is cooked on the wood burning stove which gives the meat and the fish a very nice flavour."
