We are not the first time in Captain's Boil. This is the perfect place to eat seafood;Vaughan's location is the best. Very spacious and clean. The staff is just great!!We are fans of scallops calamari, shrimp in garlic sauce, so it was yummy!!Zucchini fries, unfortunately, I can't recommend it—too overcooked, very fatty.Overall, good place for seafood lovers. $140 spent on a family of 2. What Salman Warraich doesn't like about The Captain's Boil:
Only providing a service review as we ended up leaving before placing an order. The service staff was uninterested in their jobs. When asked a simple question about what a dish contained, we received the answer what 's in the photo . There was no sense of urgency on the server 's part when we were ready to order. And when we inquired if anyone else could help us we were told he is the only option. I was just looking... View all feedback.
If i could give 0 star, i would. The service is so bad, and the food sucks. We got there, and they brought the food out. We asked for an extra plate, and there was a female server (asian) who told us she's not allowed to give out plates. We got lobster and nothing to crack them open with. We asked for proper cutlery, and no one ever came back. We went to other captain boils, and this location is not up to the standard. It's the worst! They need to look into this one.
My kids love this place for a treat when we go to Vaughan Mills. Our favourite is the fire captain's boil with snow crab and corn. Service is good, dining concept is fun and the food tastes great. A bit on the pricey side and I noticed the booth they sat us in on Sunday needed some repairs, hopefully that will be taken care of.
Rating: Captain's Boil on Rutherford is an absolute gem for seafood lovers! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu offered an impressive variety of fresh seafood, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The Cajun seasoning was a standout, complementing the seafood beautifully. The interactive dining experience, complete with gloves and bibs, added a fun and messy twist. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. If you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable meal, Captain's Boil on Rutherford is a must-visit!
I visited this location with my family party of 8 on September 15, 2023. I am very disappointed! This is my second visit to this location. But I promise you I will NEVER return. The first experience was good and I have visited the Missaissauga location multiple times with no complaints. The service is negative 100 at this location. Our food came out one at a time and very delayed. We order 3 orders off of the captain boil and they brought 4. Told them they took it back and then came out again. Order wings with fries and wings came with no fries … when asked was told oh I forgot it doesn’t come. Did you want to still order. I did and never got it until we were waiting to pay. Time come to pay and they wanted to charge they can’t figure out the bill for 30 mins!
I went there yesterday with my friends. There was no toilet paper in the washroom. No one even bothered to check the washroom for cleanliness. The food is served in plastic bags. The waitress did not bring us the tool to open the lobster or an apron. Eating with disposable gloves and trying to peel the shrimps was not the best experience. Our table was overflowing with garbage and no one came to empty it. I won't be coming again.
