A coupon came with the newspaper and my friend and I decided to try their Street Taco platter since neither of us had ever tried El Pollo Loco before. What a big mistake! The refried beans were a soup with no flavor but enough heat to make our mouths and lips burn. The Spanish rice was also tasteless but also like paste with peppery heat to burn the lips. read moreI really like the food here. Great tasting chicken with tortillas and salsa and some great sides. A more healthy choice than the other burger places for lunch.
