"Although we booked very last minute the help we got from Mimmo (one of the owners) was insane. He was so kind taking us on tour in the mountains, driving us to the waterfalls, picking us up in Reggio di Callabria (which is a one and a half hour drive) and so on and so on. We are so happy we stayed here and had a great time together. The meal we had in the restaurant was very nice, we even got a appetizer and dessert for free. Don't think Aspromonte is only good in summer, even in winter you can make incredible nice hikes and ski if you are lucky with the weather. In short, we loved this place and the people who helped us."

"Tonight I was a guest of this La Capanna restaurant with my friend Filippo. Four friends...we appreciated the table service, attentive Domenico. The food we tasted was of great quality, the chef 's cooked seafood appetizers were interesting, but the raw ones... true poetry . The Venere rice we tasted was fragrant, rich in shellfish and balanced in flavor, beautiful to look at...spectacular! Many thanks to Eugenio, the owner, who presented his dishes with professional skill... everything was excellent, the octopus with vegetables and tomatoes, a UNESCO goodness. The wine and bubbles list is accurate.. it was a lovely evening. Thanks a lot. Being a guest I didn 't understand the final bill... congratulations!"

"I happened to go to this cozy bistrot by chance, finding out it was one of the few open on Monday evening (in the summer it is open every day). It turned out to be one of my best decisions ever. In the quiet atmosphere of the restaurant, I had one of the most amazing fish based experiences of my life: every dish is prepared with love and fantasy, and served with the highest accuracy and care, so that customer can not only enjoy their meal but also and especially taste every bit and hint of any ingredients the chef has put in the fish recipy: citrus fruits, peculiar pesto and sauces or seeds. It is not fish, it 's a bouquet of sensations and emotions! The Bistrot offers also a number of desserts, which, if possible, further increase the already outstanding level of meals. The selection of wine, oils and vinegars is also highly professional, as well as the choice of music. Totally recommended!"
