Wonderful service eating. Lamm Brioche excellent. Carafe Rose was beautiful. Nice setting sitting outside overlooking the river. Very recommended.

"Although we live near to Chabanais, this is the first time we have eaten here. We had booked a table and it was clear that this was very necessary, Covid-19 or not. The three of us had the plat du jour and the price, which...includes a 1/4 litre of wine of one's choice (colour! , was only €14 for four courses. On the day, the main dish (plat was some excellent beef in a simple sauce with a large boiled potato or, for an extra €1, chips could be had. The service was extremely quick, with the host/owner taking orders electronically on his device and transmitting all this to the waiting staff. So, in summary, relatively simple food, well prepared and cooked and great value for money. We shall return."

"We stopped here very last minute whilst travelling north. The family who run the hotel are very welcoming. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and high quality. The restaurant is the star of the show. The quality of food was outstanding, the presentation rivals any...high-end London restaurant I've eaten in. Every dish was an amazing experience to enjoy, not just a dish to eat. The chef is increadible. Restaurant and hotel are absolutely faultless."
