"We found out the landlady of the cherry tree inn at Willingham wouldn't mind if we parked our motorhome in the pubs large car park and only 3 miles on the local bus to Lincoln Christmas market. We spent 3 nights there and enjoyed drinks in the bar where the locals made us very welcome. On the Friday morning Angela (who works behind the bar her husband Steve very kindly offered to give us a lift in his car to Lincoln . Everyone was so freindly. We booked in for Sunday lunch where we met landlady Kay who had also cooked the food, and it was excellent, the meat was so tasty and tender. The pub itself is immaculately clean and inviting, we are already planning our next trip."

"Lovely little pub, but we were not there to drink! Daughter's 18th birthday she was missing Greek food. So, after a little Google, we chose the Plough bonus; Greek landlord. Could fault absolutely nothing! Very generous servings, flavoursome beautifully presented. Photo is of our starters. The mains I did not get chance to photograph as it was all so tasty looking, we couldn't wait! Last photo is of the chocolate fondant. Clean plates all round. I am asking Christos please send me the recipe for the grilled aubergines courgettes with the tomato sauce it was perfect!!"
