What Magic Eid doesn't like about Pen Y Bryn:
Cauliflower and Cheddar soup wasn't hot so still had lumps of unmelted cheese in it. Lamb was overcooked, vegetables were bland and limp. Overall the dish was dry. Had the French apple and toffee with ice cream which was nice but portion size was smaller than before. Service was good but didn't get that overall feeling of a good experience due to the food. Quality food as always .Staff a credit to your company
Good atmosphere Food was good quality, my only criticism would be the portions could have been slightly bigger. Staff were helpful but did have to wait a little to get the bill, but the food came quickly when we ordered it.
Always reliably good food here, a reasonable selection of local beers, good atmosphere too. Is also dog friendly. Well worth booking before you come.
Lovely food stopped off on our way to Holyhead. It's not on the route but if you have plenty of time well worth the small detour.
