"No menus other than the board inside so enjoy standing around inside staring at the board if you don't have a phone to take a picture seriously, what self respecting eatery doesn't have menus? The menu was basic and lacked detail (stated to ask staff about which pizzas were on offer . When staff were asked about this, they gave a very rough recounting of what pizzas they had and refused to give a list of available toppings in a rather unapologetic manner. As an autistic person I found the rest of the menu to be quite boring and lacking in choice, so we left confused as to why this establishment is rated as highly as it is. Also would just like to mention how badly sign posted the car park is (and point out how empty it is as 6PM during an August evening maybe if they actually had more customers there would be more accurately negative reviews! Now happily sat at Tal Y Cafn where there is much more choice and won't be trying Y Bedol Inn again."

"C’mon now, the food here is fecking tippity tip top. The building has history, the owners are characters that are warm and embracing, their menu has treats across the board. Definitely a place to return to. If you haven’t been, do, you won’t be disappointed."

"First time visiting after hearing good things, came in to a mostly chilled cafe around 12pm on 02/04/22 and noticed as we walked in a sign “wait to be seated” there was loads of tables empty and no one looked hugely busy but the cashier...had a few guest, the waitress on didn’t make eye contact once on the multiple times she walked past, a simple “hey take a seat” or “I’ll just be a few minutes sorry” would of been enough busy instead she just completed blanked us and left us standing there. After 10 minutes, we were trying to be polite initially we just left. We only waited due to the sign saying wait to be seated so if this isn’t the case remove the sign or inform the waitress to tell new guests to seat them selves. It’s a shame as I’ve heard so many good things about the food but this level of customer service is appalling"

"Well it has to be said that the sign outside that boasts ‘COME IN AND TRY THE WORST AFTERNOON TEA ONE ANGRY MAN ON TRIP ADVISOR HAD IN HIS LIFE ‘ is right !!! it is absolutely the worst cream tea: large , dry,...mass produced scones , cheap jam and then aerosol cream !! Not even a decent dollop of lovely thick cream to help you digest the cardboard scone …. Save your money it really is dreadful .. rather than them boast and wear the poor rating as a ‘badge of honour ‘ , why don’t they do something about it and make some changes?? Listen to all your customers not only those that leave good reviews"
