We were not to sure of the dining opportunities at the steam show so we dropped in here. We had a great waitress that was fast and she made us feel right at home. I decided on a Greek salad and she talked me into adding chicken for $1 more!! Wow the piece of chicken was like an entree in itself. Sure it's an older diner but that is where it's at in Cookstown. We've always enjoyed the food at toast,so when we decided to go on Valentines day, we were looking forward to a great meal. We had the roast beef special $19, which was a bit pricey, but beings we as always loved their food, ordered it....What a disappointment the beef was! Grizzle and fat and hard to chew the rest! Otherwise soup and veggies were good. It'll be awhile if never going back. read more.
